Job summary

Southern Steel QLD, a leading steel supplier, seeks a motivated Storeperson for our Wacol branch on the day shift (6:00 AM–2:00 PM), Monday to Friday. Join a fast-paced warehouse environment supporting warehousing, picking, packing, and delivery documentation.

Candidate should be reliable with good communication and be willing to undergo forklift/overhead crane training. Reference checks and pre-employment medicals may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or understanding of warehouse operations (not essential).
• Willing to undergo Forklift and Overhead Crane training.
• Great communication skills, ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
• An excellent work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Warehousing and distribution of steel products using overhead cranes/forklifts.
• Picking & packing orders, unloading, loading and stacking materials.
• Completing documents associated with deliveries.
• Operating machines, when required.
• General warehouse duties and supporting the warehouse team.
• Following the correct safety procedures at all times.
