Job summary

Go Electrical Kirrawee, part of MMEM, is hiring a storeperson to join the warehouse team in a full-time role, Monday to Friday with one Saturday monthly. You will manage stock, prepare orders, and assist customers at the trade counter to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires forklift operation, a valid forklift licence, and a current driver’s licence, with a focus on safe, efficient handling of bulky stock and warehouse organisation.

Qualifications

• A current forklift licence and confidence using it.
• Current driver's licence.
• Comfortable with physical work, including handling bulky stock.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
• Happy to help customers at the trade counter.

About Us

Go Electrical Kirrawee is part of MMEM, one of Australia's largest electrical wholesaling groups. We have the backing of a national network and the feel of a local branch, where the team knows its customers and helps each other out.

The Role

You’ll spend most of your day in the warehouse, handling stock and preparing orders, with a couple of hours spent helping customers at the trade counter.

You’ll be the main storeperson, with the team pitching in when needed. This is a full-time role - Monday to Friday. The team rotate one Saturday morning shift a month, from 7:30am to 11:00am.

What You'll Do

• Receive deliveries and put stock away using the forklift
• Pick orders and prepare stock for customer deliveries
• Keep stock organised across the warehouse
• Handle bulky items, including conduit and cable drums
• Help trade customers at the counter in the morning or afternoon

About You

• Storeperson or warehouse experience
• A current forklift licence and confidence using it
• Current driver's licence
