CoreStaff is recruiting for a Rockhampton based role with a leading Australian steel building products manufacturer. The position involves manufacturing and logistics tasks, with training provided for all duties and strict adherence to health and safety guidelines.

Candidates should have a high risk forklift license, stores/warehousing or labouring experience, and a current driver’s licence. ERP experience and strong paperwork, accuracy, and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High risk forklift license required.
• Stores/warehousing or general labouring experience.
• Ability to learn and work within set timeframes.
• Current driver’s licence (CA accepted).
• Strong basic computer skills (ERP systems preferred).
• Excellent paperwork handling.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery in manufacturing or labouring roles.
• Assist with manual handling and general labour tasks.
• Accept deliveries and handle various materials.
• Load and unload manufactured product; pick and pack.

Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer and supplier of roll-formed steel building products. They specialise in steel roofing, wall cladding, rainwater products (gutters and fascias), structural purlins, flooring, and roller doors for residential and commercial projects.

About the Role

The role will involve working in their manufacturing section with machinery operating/manufacturing mill work and labouring or their logistics area. All training is provided for all roles. With more duties including Manual Handling and general labouring duties, Accepting deliveries, Handling fragile product of various materials, Loading and unloading manufactured product, Picking and packing, General housekeeping and cleaning of store area & Adherence to workplace health and safety guidelines.

To be successful in this role, you will have

• High risk forklift license
• Demonstrated stores/warehousing experience OR general labouring experience
• Ability to learn and work within set timeframes
• A current driver's licence - CA accepted
• Strong basic computer skills
• Great with paperwork
• ERP System experience a must
• High attention to detail
• Great communication skills
