Job summary

Frontline Human Resources is recruiting a Storeperson for a busy manufacturing site in Epping, VIC. The role involves forklift operation (20–30%), picking, inwards goods and general warehouse labour to support production.

You will work a Monday–Friday day shift from 7:00am to 3:57pm with a 9-day fortnight and an RDO every second Friday. Safe working practices and reliable transport are essential.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift experience is required.
• Experience in picking and warehouse operations.
• Experience in inwards goods/receiving stock.
• Manufacturing, production or labouring experience preferred.
• Physically capable of performing manual work all day.

Responsibilities

• Operate high reach and counterbalance forklifts for ~20–30% of the day.
• Pick materials and components for production.

• Prepare materials for production.
• General warehouse labouring and stock movement.

About Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Storeperson to join a busy manufacturing environment in Epping.

Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer specialising in the design and production of premium caravans and recreational vehicles.

This is a hands-on role, with approximately 20-30% of the day spent operating forklifts, while the remainder of the role will involve picking, general labouring and supporting the production team.

About the Role

Your duties will include:

• Operating high reach and counterbalance forklifts for approximately 20-30% of the working day
• Picking materials and components for production
• Inwards goods and receiving stock
• Preparing materials and components for production
• General warehouse labouring
• Moving and organising stock throughout the warehouse and production areas
• Supplying materials to production as requiredLoading and unloading deliveries
• Assisting with general production and warehouse duties
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven counterbalance forklift experience
• Previous picking and warehouse experience
• Experience in inwards goods
• Previous manufacturing, production or labouring experience highly regarded
• Comfortable performing manual and physical work throughout the day
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when picking
• Strong safety awareness
• Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
