Job summary

Our client requires a reliable Warehouse Store Person for their Noble Park team, handling all warehouse operations in partnership with manufacturing and office staff.

Key duties include forklift-assisted picking, packing and dispatch, courier bookings, stock control, and light assembly work. Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (finish negotiable for the right candidate); Melbourne, VIC location. Pay rate is $33–$35 per hour plus company benefits.

Qualifications

• LF licence is required.
• Experience with forklift operations is preferred.
• Ability to perform manual handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Forklift assisted picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.
• Booking couriers online and coordinating site deliveries.
• Stock/consumable control and maintaining warehouse organization.
• Assist manufacturing with basic assembly using hand tools and packaging finished goods.

Job description

Our client is seeking a reliable and self-motivated Warehouse Store Person to join their team in Noble Park. You will be responsible for all warehouse operations whilst working cohesively with our manufacturing and office-based teams.

Pay Rate: $33-$35 per hour + company benefits.

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (finish time, can be negotiated for the right candidate)

Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Forklift assisted picking – LF licence required
• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
• Booking couriers online and coordinating site deliveries
• Warehouse stock/consumable control
• Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse
• Assisting manufacturing with basic assembly work using hand tools and packaging finished goods

The successful applicant will:

• Have a forklift license – LF licence required
• Have previous pick / pack experience
• Be physically fit, as manual handling will be involved
• Have clear written and verbal communication skills
• Be self-motivated and show initiative
• Be punctual and reliable
• Enjoy working in a team but is able to work autonomously and unsupervised
