Job summary

Momentum Consulting is seeking a reliable Warehouse Picker for a permanent role in Mackay, Queensland. You will pick and pack orders, dispatch goods, and ensure efficient warehouse operations in a safe environment.

Key tasks include RF scanning, meeting KPIs, replenishments and forklift-assisted loading/unloading, with ongoing safety briefings and toolbox talks. A current driver’s licence is required; LF forklift licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• LF forklift licence is advantageous.
• Basic warehouse experience preferred.
• Must have current driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Pick & Pack orders for dispatch.
• Operate RF scanner and ensure accurate data capture.
• Meet hourly and daily KPIs.
• Perform general warehouse duties.
• Replenishments, put-aways, loading & unloading via forklift.
• Follow all on-site Safe Work Practices.
• Attend start-up toolbox talks.

Job description

Our client is a manufacturing, import and wholesale business, specialising in the provision of reputable, quality, and innovative branded safety and lifting products, including Mack footwear, WS workwear, Beaver lifting & materials handling, Beaver load restraint, B-Safe height safety, onsite testing and inspection services, Frontier personal protective equipment and many 3rd party safety products.

About the role:

This role will be responsible for the accurate picking of orders, on‑time dispatch and receiving goods whilst ensuring all warehouse operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner. This role will also be required to work as directed and collaborate with other team members and Team Leader/Supervisor, to ensure the best possible customer service is delivered at the lowest cost to the business.

You will be required to:

• Pick & Pack orders ready for dispatch
• RF Scanning
• Meeting hourly / daily KPI's
• General warehouse duties
• Replenishments, put-aways, loading & unloading trucks via forklift
• Following ALL on-site Safe Work Practices
• Attending start-up Toolbox talks

Requirements:

• LF Forklift Licence is an advantage
• High Reach experience but not necessary (will train if needed)
• Able to use RF Scanner
• Basic Warehouse experience (preferred but not essential)
• A current Driver's Licence and own transportation
• Willingness to learn and develop existing skills
