Job summary

Momentum Consulting Group is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Picker for our manufacturing and distribution client in Mackay. You will pick and pack orders, use RF scanning, and support loading/unloading with a forklift as needed. Focus on accuracy, safety, and on-time dispatch.

Permanent role with opportunities for progression; local applicants with own transport urged to apply. The role offers a safe undercover work environment and ongoing training to develop your skills within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• LF Forklift licence is advantageous.
• Basic warehouse experience preferred.
• Current driver’s licence and own transport.
• Willingness to learn and develop existing skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick & Pack orders ready for dispatch.
• RF scanning throughout shifts.
• Meet hourly/daily KPI targets.
• General warehouse duties as required.
• Replenishments, put-aways, loading & unloading trucks via forklift.
• Adhere to on-site Safe Work Practices.
• Attend start-up toolbox talks.

Job description

Our client is a manufacturing, import and wholesale business, specialising in the provision of reputable, quality, and innovative branded safety and lifting products, including Mack footwear, WS workwear, Beaver lifting & materials handling, Beaver load restraint, B-Safe height safety, onsite testing and inspection services, Frontier personal protective equipment and many 3rd party safety products.

About the role:

This role will be responsible for the accurate picking of orders, on-time dispatch and receiving goods whilst ensuring all warehouse operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner. This role will also be required to work as directed and collaborate with other team members and Team Leader/Supervisor, to ensure the best possible customer service is delivered at the lowest cost to the business.

You will be required to:

• Pick & Pack orders ready for dispatch
• RF Scanning
• Meeting hourly / daily KPI's
• General warehouse duties
• Replenishments, put-aways, loading & unloading trucks via forklift
• Following ALL on-site Safe Work Practices
• Attending start-up Toolbox talks

Requirements:

• LF Forklift Licence is an advantage
• High Reach experience but not necessary (will train if needed)
• Able to use RF Scanner
• Basic Warehouse experience (preferred but not essential)
• A current Driver's Licence and own transportation
• Willingness to learn and develop existing skills
