Job summary

Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ is seeking a reliable Storeperson in Islington, Canterbury NSW, for a temporary, full-time assignment. You will support warehouse operations, receive and store goods, pick and issue materials, and help maintain accurate stock records.

Role requires OSH forklift license, a physically fit candidate with good IT skills, and strong teamwork. Monday–Friday day shifts with weekly pay and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous stores, warehouse or inventory experience.
• Current OSH Forklift license required.
• F endorsement preferred but not essential.
• Physically fit with manual handling capability.
• Good computer literacy and able to learn new systems.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, motivated and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods.
• Picking and issuing materials for production.
• Completing stock movements and inventory transactions.
• Operating scanning equipment and basic ERP systems.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and documentation.
• Loading and unloading goods safely.

About the Role

Our client, a well-established manufacturing and engineering business in Islington, is seeking a reliable Storeperson to join their team on a temporary basis. This role will see you supporting warehouse and stores operations, ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, picked and dispatched. You will work closely with production teams and contribute to maintaining an organised and efficient workplace.

Duties Include

• Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods
• Picking and issuing materials for production requirements
• Completing stock movements and inventory transactions accurately
• Operating scanning equipment and basic ERP systems
• Maintaining accurate stock records and documentation
• Loading and unloading goods safely
• Assisting with stocktakes and inventory control activities
• Ensuring stores and warehouse areas remain clean and organised
• Working collaboratively with production and warehouse teams
• Following all health and safety procedures

Shift & Pay

• Monday to Friday Day Shifts
• Ongoing temporary assignment
• $27-$30 per hour depending on experience

Skills & Experience
