Job summary

The Fish Factory is seeking a Storeman to join our Brisbane team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will manage stock receival, put-away, and daily warehouse tasks across our chiller and freezer environments, reporting to the Inventory Manager.

Ideal candidates will have forklift certification, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well with others in a busy hospitality-focused seafood operation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a store person or in stock handling.
• Attention to detail and ability to report discrepancies.
• Forklift certification and experience operating a forklift.
• Proven warehouse skills.
• Physically fit and able.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with others and be a team player.
• Strong work ethic.
• Sound knowledge of seafood.
• Experience within the hospitality industry.

The Fish Factory is excited to announce a job opportunity for a Storeman to join our team on a PERMANENT BASIS!Reporting to the Inventory Manager, you will work a full-time roster, covering 38 hours per week! The successful candidate will be comfortable taking control of paperwork and reporting processes to the operations manager. With genuine growth opportunities, this role will put you in the heart of our operations working across warehouse, chiller and freezer environments. Duties include:

Receival and put-away of incoming stock

Checking off goods and recording/reporting discrepancies

Operating of a forklift

Some picking and packing of orders

Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles/containers

Assistance with stock-takes

General warehouse duties

Experience, qualifications & personal attributes

Previous experience as a store person or in stock handling

Attention to detail & ability to report discrepancies

Forklift certification & experience operating a forklift
