Job summary

Poulos Bros Seafoods in Pyrmont, NSW, is hiring a full-time Coldstore Storeman to support our cold storage operations. You will receive, sort and store seafood, operate forklifts and move products in a food-safe environment.

The role runs 4am–1pm Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings as required, and onsite parking with a freezer suit provided. We value accuracy, teamwork and adherence to safety and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing or cold storage, preferably food industry.
• Forklift licence and experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Commitment to food safety and workplace health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Poulos Bros Seafoods is seeking a full-time Coldstore Storeman to join our team in Pyrmont, NSW. As a Coldstore Storeman, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe operation of our cold storage facility, ensuring the proper handling and storage of our seafood products.

What you'll be doing

• Receive, sort and store seafood products in designated cold storage areas
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and stack products
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Pick and pack products per bulk pick lists
• Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery trucks
• Provide support to the warehouse team as needed

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a warehousing or cold storage role, preferably within the food industry
• Forklift licence and experience operating warehouse equipment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
• Commitment to upholding food safety and workplace health and safety standards
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Working hours of 4am to 1pm Monday to Friday plus Saturday morning as required.
