Job summary

Independence Australia is seeking a reliable warehouse team member to ensure efficient daily operations and accurate order fulfillment. You will pick and pack orders, receive stock, and dispatch shipments for courier delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role offers a fixed afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, with futures for overtime and weekends off. A focus on accuracy and teamwork will help ensure timely delivery of health products to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in pick-packing, dispatch or general warehousing.
• Basic computer skills with experience using Warehouse Management Systems.
• High attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Forklift Licence would be fantastic.
• Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders accurately against daily targets.

About the role

You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operations of our warehouse.

You will accurately pick and pack orders, receive and dispatch stock, and maintain high standards of safety and quality to ensure essential health products reach our customers on time.

This role offers a fixed afternoon shift from Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, giving you a consistent routine, job security, and your weekends completely free!

What you will do:

Pick & Pack Orders: Accurately select and pack customer orders against daily warehouse targets and quality guidelines.

Stock Receiving: Check incoming goods against purchase orders and record stock accurately into our warehouse system.

Dispatch & Couriers: Prepare shipping labels and dispatch documentation for regular and urgent courier deliveries.

Returns & Inventory: Handle product returns according to company policy and participate in regular spot checks and stocktakes.

Team Operations: Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to maintain a safe, clean, and organised workplace.

About you

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working, and safety-focused team player who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in getting orders right the first time.

Skills & Experience:

Experience: Previous experience in pick-packing, dispatch, or general warehousing is preferred.

System Knowledge: Basic computer skills with experience using Warehouse Management Systems.

Core Skills: High attention to detail, order accuracy, good communication, and basic problem-solving skills.

Tickets & Licenses: No tickets are required for this role, however a valid Forklift Licence would be fantastic!

Shift Availability: Full availability to work Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM with overtime available when required.

Key Requirements: Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
