Job summary

Wesfarmers Health is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Planner to join the Store Development team. You will translate operational and franchise requirements into innovative layouts, ensuring consistency with brand standards and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with Construction Project Managers, Merchandise, Operations, Property and external consultants to deliver projects from feasibility to handover. A strong design portfolio and retail space planning expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in architectural or retail design practice.
• Ability to conceptualise plan layouts and communicate with stakeholders.
• Experience in a franchise environment is valued.
• Strong understanding of retail planning and store development processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative store layouts, customer journeys and category flows that enhance customer experience and commercial outcomes.
• Design shopfronts and store concepts meeting franchise and regulatory requirements.
• Manage documentation consultants (architects/engineers/certifiers) throughout project lifecycle.
• Review packages for accuracy and compliance with standards.
