Job summary

4WD Supacentre is seeking a detail-focused Store Layout Drafter to create accurate technical drawings for new stores, refurbishments and visual merchandising projects. You will produce floor plans, fixture layouts and 3D visuals, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure practical, compliant layouts.

Ideal candidates have strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of retail layouts and customer flow.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
• Strong technical drawing and documentation skills.
• Understanding of retail layouts and customer flow.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to manage several projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience in retail design, store planning or shopfitting is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Produce store floor plans, fixture layouts, 3D visuals and technical drawings.
• Prepare documentation for new store builds and refurbishments.
• Maintain and update store floor plans as changes occur.
• Translate store-layout concepts into accurate drawings.
• Work with Store Design, Property, Retail and Visual Merchandising teams.
• Support the development of fixture specifications and store-design guidelines.
• Liaise with shopfitters, contractors and external partners.
• Ensure drawings are clearly understood and executed correctly.
• Obtain quotes and coordinate orders for display fixtures and signage.
• Manage rollout of approved fixtures and signage to stores.
• Complete standard drawing updates within required timeframes.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and ready for construction.

4WD Supacentre is looking for a detail-focused Store Layout Drafter to create accurate technical drawings for new stores, refurbishments and visual merchandising projects.

This role is ideal for someone with strong drafting skills who enjoys transforming store-layout concepts into practical plans that can be clearly understood and successfully delivered by internal teams, shopfitters and contractors.

About the Role

Working closely with the National Space Planner, Store Design, Property, Visual Merchandising and Retail teams, you will produce detailed floor plans, fixture layouts, 3D visuals and technical documentation.

You will also maintain accurate store plans, coordinate display fixtures and signage, and help ensure each store layout is practical, compliant and consistent with our brand standards.
