Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a Store Person / Trade Assistant to join our South-East Queensland workshop team. You will provide daily administrative and operational support, assist with asset coordination, and help manage stock and deliveries in a busy workshop environment.

Experience in mechanical workshops, transport, or logistics is valued, along with strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude. We offer flexible wellbeing benefits and a supportive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily administrative and operational support to the workshop team, including assisting the Workshop Coordinator with asset coordination.
• Raise purchase orders and receipt incoming goods in accordance with company processes.
• Support effective stock control, including parts ordering, inventory management and regular stocktakes.
• Load and unload deliveries and safely handle materials, parts and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented workshop, stores and work areas.
• Provide practical assistance to tradespersons to support efficient workshop operations.
• Assist with general workshop duties and other tasks as required to support the team.

What's on offer? As our Infrastructure Services business continues to grow, we're on the lookout for a motivated and reliable Store Person / Trade Assistant to join our South-East Queensland team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will provide vital support to ensure the smooth running of our workshop operations. Whilst previous workshop experience is preferred, we're also keen to hear from individuals with a great attitude and a strong willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily administrative and operational support to the workshop team, including assisting the Workshop Coordinator with asset coordination.

We are seeking a self-starter with previous experience in mechanical workshops, transport, or logistics (highly regarded). You will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills together with intermediate Microsoft Office skills. With excellent time management and an ability to multi-task, you will be team spirited, adaptable and have a positive attitude can-do attitude.
