Job summary

Norco Co-Operative Limited invites applications for a Store Person / Delivery Driver to join our Macksville and Bellingen stores on a permanent part-time basis, working 24 hours per week across three days. You will be hands-on, delivering to farms and local businesses while supporting warehouse and store operations.

This role requires a current HV Driver's Licence, a forklift licence, a strong safety mindset and the ability to work Saturdays on a rotating roster in a community-focused

Qualifications

• HV Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
• Forklift licence is required or preferred.
• Experience in warehousing, delivery or rural retail environments.
• Strong safety mindset and WHS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, unloading and safely storing incoming stock.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised warehouse in line with WHS requirements.
• Delivering rural products safely and reliably to farms, local businesses and other store locations.
• Planning and navigating local and rural delivery routes.
• Conducting routine vehicle inspections and reporting maintenance requirements.
• Completing delivery documentation accurately.
• Assisting across all areas of rural retailing, including sales, merchandising and yard work.
• Providing friendly, solution-focused customer service at the counter, on the road and in the yard.
• Complying with all WHS, traffic, load restraint and Chain of Responsibility requirements.

About the Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and organised Store Person / Delivery Driver to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, working across our Bellingen and Macksville stores for 24 hours per week (three days per week).

This is not your average delivery role. You'll be hands-on in a dynamic, community-focused environment, delivering products to local farms and businesses, supporting warehouse and store operations, and building strong relationships with customers across the region.

Availability to work Saturdays as rostered is essential.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include

What You'll Bring

• A current HV Driver's Licence with a safe driving record
• A current Forklift Licence
• Previous experience in a warehousing, delivery or rural retail environment
• A strong safety mindset and understanding of WHS and traffic requirements
• Familiarity with local and rural routes
• Physical capability to safely undertake manual handling tasks
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Good time management, attention to detail and basic computer skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small, close-knit team
• Availability to work Saturdays as part of a rotating roster
