Job summary

Early Settler in Wagga Wagga is seeking a proactive Retail Store Person to support daily store operations, help customers collect orders, and assist with back-of-store tasks.

In this fast-paced role you will load weekly trucks, receipting goods, assemble furniture, and uphold OH&S standards while keeping the store tidy.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar warehousing and retail support role.
• Ability to assist customers and handle orders with a friendly attitude.
• Physical capability for regular manual handling of products.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Loading of weekly trucks and containers with precision and care.
• Assisting customers with order collections - making it a seamless experience.
• Supporting the retail sales team with stock/product movement for the shop floor.
• Accurately receipting of goods into our operating system.
• Assembly of furniture with pride and attention to detail.
• Responsible for contributing to and upholding all OH&S requirements.
• Maintaining good housekeeping techniques and an organized, safe and tidy store and warehouse.
• To collaboratively work as part of a team, use your initiative, problem solve and handle a fast paced environment.

What is the Role?

We're looking for an energetic, and dependable Retail Store Person to become the behind-the-scenes hero of our retail team. In this dynamic, fast-paced role, you'll support daily retail operations, help customers collect their orders with a smile, and keep things running smoothly in the back-of-store warehouse.

• As we are a furniture store, the role involves regular manual handling of products including lifting, carrying and moving items of varying sizes. Applicants must be physically capable of safely performing these tasks as part of their daily duties.
