Job summary

Early Settler is seeking a hands-on Retail Store Person to support daily store operations from the shop floor to the back dock. You will assist customers, move stock, and help with order collections with a smile, in a fast-paced environment.

This role suits someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in a job well done, and is comfortable with manual handling of furniture. A team-oriented, proactive attitude is essential to keep our store humming.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing and distribution support.
• Good computer skills including email and MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• A passion to help people and achieve results.
• Physical capability to handle products.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Loading of weekly trucks and containers with precision and care.
• Assisting customers with order collections - making it a seamless experience.
• Supporting the retail sales team with stock/product movement for the shop floor.
• Accurately receipting of goods into our operating system.
• Assembly of furniture with pride and attention to detail.
• Responsible for contributing to and upholding all OH&S requirements.
• Maintaining good housekeeping techniques and an organized, safe and tidy store and warehouse.
• Collaborate as part of a team, use initiative, solve problems and perform in a fast-paced environment.

• As we are a furniture store, the role involves regular manual handling of products including lifting, carrying and moving items of varying sizes. Applicants must be physically capable of safely performing these tasks as part of their daily duties.
