Job summary

Apex Welding Safety Pty is seeking an experienced Store person to join the North Sydney warehouse team. You will be hands-on on the warehouse floor, pick and pack customer orders, receive stock, and support daily operations under the Warehouse Manager.

This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to teamwork. The successful candidate will be involved in stock checks, coordinating priorities, and ensuring orders go out accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Must have solid warehouse experience including stock handling and order processing.
• Able to work as part of a team and contribute to a safe, efficient workspace.
• Willing to take responsibility and help teammates as needed.
• Forklift licence preferred but not mandatory; training may be available.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders.
• Receive and store stock; perform stock checks.
• Organise freight and couriers; keep the warehouse clean and ordered.
• Coordinate priorities with the Warehouse Manager and other team members.
• Ensure orders are picked and dispatched accurately and on time.

We're growing and looking for an experienced Store person or someone with similar skills to become a key part of our North Sydney warehouse team.

Working alongside and reporting to our Warehouse Manager, you'll be one of the store people on the warehouse floor, helping keep the day running smoothly while still being hands‑on with the work.

We're not looking for someone who wants to sit behind a desk all day.

We're looking for someone who likes getting stuck in, knows their way around a warehouse, takes pride in doing things properly and can help other team members when needed.

A typical day could include:

• Picking and packing customer orders
• Receiving and putting away stock
• Checking stock and investigating discrepancies
• Coordinating priorities with the Warehouse Manager
• Helping team members
• Organising freight and couriers
• Keeping the warehouse clean and organised
• Making sure orders go out accurately and on time
• Finding smarter and more efficient ways of doing things
