Job summary

Rockmount in Kings Park, NSW, is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operator to run the site day to day. This full-time, permanent role involves forklift operation, stock receiving, picking and packing, loading deliveries, and maintaining a clean, organised warehouse.

You will work directly with drivers and customers, have autonomy to manage your patch, and visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate. A current LF forklift licence and ability to lift 25 kg are required.

Qualifications

• Current forklift licence (LF) and hands-on experience required.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 25kg.
• Strong communication skills with drivers and customers.
• HR licence highly regarded but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to receive, store and move stock.
• Pick and pack customer orders onto pallets.
• Load customer orders onto vehicles and trucks.
• Receive and unload deliveries.
• Label and store goods accurately.
• Shrink-wrap palletised goods manually.
• Deliver and pick up materials to construction sites.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organisation.
• Track equipment in and out of the warehouse.
• End of month stock counts.

Job description

Rockmount is recruiting on behalf of a construction and building supplies business based in Kings Park. This is a full time, permanent role — not labour hire, not casual — with the entitlements that come with it (annual leave, sick leave). You'll be the sole person running the warehouse day to day, so if you'd rather be trusted to get on with the job than micromanaged, this is worth a look. What you'll be doing:

• Operating a forklift to receive, store and move stock
• Picking and packing customer orders onto pallets
• Loading customer orders onto vehicles and trucks
• Receiving and unloading incoming deliveries
• Labelling and storing goods accurately
• Manually shrink-wrapping palletised goods
• Delivering and picking up materials to and from construction sites
• General warehouse duties — keeping the place clean and organised
• Tracking equipment in and out of the warehouse
• End of month stock counts

Requirements

• Current forklift licence (LF) and hands-on experience
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 25kg
• Strong communication skills — you'll deal directly with customers, drivers and the team
• Current HR licence highly regarded, but not essential
• Experience driving a small truck a bonus, not required
