Job summary

Bunnings Group is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to oversee daily operations, sales and high‑volume stock management in a busy store. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will lead 180+ team members, coordinate with department managers and drive customer service and safety across the site.

You’ll develop strategies for growth, monitor performance against sales and margin targets, and collaborate with distribution centres and store teams to deliver Best Experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a large team in retail or high-volume operation.
• Strong focus on safety and compliance with WMS/stock control.
• Proven ability to coach/develop Department Managers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 50+ direct reports.
• Oversee daily operations, safety, and stock management.
• Drive sales, margins and customer experience.
• Engage with department managers and distribution centres.
• Monitor safety walks, audits and performance metrics.
