Job summary

Skechers Australia is seeking a Store Manager for Waurn Ponds to drive sales, lead a passionate team, and own all aspects of daily operations with a focus on exceptional customer experiences.

Work with retail leadership to grow the Skechers brand across Australia & New Zealand, coaching teams toward flagship store leadership and delivering strong results through incentives and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Store Manager or senior leader driving sales and team performance.
• Ability to work autonomously and make in-store decisions impacting sales.
• Growth mindset with readiness to progress to flagship stores or senior roles.
• Strong coaching skills to develop high-performing teams.
• High standards in visual merchandising, stock control and store presentation.

Responsibilities

• Own whole-store performance by driving sales, added value, UPT and customer experiences.
• Lead by example on the shop floor to connect with customers and boost sales.
• Educate loyal customers about Skechers products and features.
• Coach and develop a high-performance, energetic store culture.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, wage control, shrink, VM and stock accuracy.

Our store leaders are accountable for all aspects of the business and are empowered to treat it as their own. Working closely alongside our retail leadership team, this role is responsible for driving results, coaching, and developing their team, and growing the Skechers brand across Australia & New Zealand!

• Proven experience as a Store Manager or senior leader (ASM/Supervisor), with a strong track record of driving sales and team performance
• The ability to work autonomously, with confidence to make in-store decisions that positively impact sales performance
• A growth mindset, actively seeking feedback and motivated to progress into flagship stores or senior leadership roles
• A confident coach with a passion for developing others and building engaged, high-performing teams
• Strong operational standards across visual merchandising, stock control, and overall store presentation

Sales & Service

Coaching & Leadership

Store Operations

• Deliver weekly feedback on business performance, wins, and opportunities
• Oversee day to day store operations – prioritising and delegating duties as needed
• Maintain high standards across wage control, shrink, VM execution and stock accuracy
• Understand and adhere to people safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
