Job summary

4WD Supacentre in Melbourne is seeking a driven Store Manager to lead a high-performing team, deliver outstanding customer experiences and grow store performance both in showroom and warehouse.

You will manage P&L, KPIs and discount campaigns, coach staff, maintain showroom standards, and energise the crew to achieve strong commercial results while embodying our 'outdoors for less' ethos. Experience in retail FMCG and outdoor or hardware preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail FMCG/outdoor/automotive/hardware or large-format retail is preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store’s daily operations, showroom and warehouse.
• Drive KPIs such as Sales per hour, AOV, conversions and stock integrity.
• Coach and develop a high-performing crew.
• Ensure a safe, compliant, customer-focused shopping environment.
• Develop growth opportunities through promotions and campaigns.

As Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall success of your store both in the showroom and warehouse.

You'll work closely with your leadership team to create momentum, deliver outstanding customer experiences and achieve strong commercial results.

Your Mission

You'll be responsible for:

• Managing the overall P&L and driving results based on daily, weekly and monthly KPIs.
• Driving Upsells, Sales per hour, Average Order Value, conversion rates plus Click & Collects, returns, store hygiene, standards and compliance.
• Disciplined monitoring of key performance metrics throughout the day with your crew.
• Understanding our daily discount deals and translating those to results on the floor with the crew.
• Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing crew.
• Creating a culture focused on customer experience and results.
• Identifying growth opportunities through social media campaigns to drive foot traffic.
• Maintaining showroom standards, visual and merchandise presentation.
• Ensuring your store operates safely, efficiently and profitably.
• Creating an environment where customers want to return and crews want to succeed.
• You already drive a 4WD and can talk-the-talk about the great Aussie outdoors with confidence with your crew and our customers.
• You’re passionate about hunting down the best discounts in our categories – and we have them, every day!
• You lead with energy, positivity and accountability and can talk from the head and heart about our products and experiences with our customers.
• You're not only commercially minded but you’re naturally highly competitive because the name of your store at top of the national ladder every week and month is in your DNA.

Experience in retail FMCG, outdoor, automotive, camping, recreational, hardware or large-format retail is preferred.
