Nuway Landscape Supplies in Brisbane is seeking a Store Manager to lead and develop the team, drive sales and customer service, and ensure the branch runs safely, efficiently and profitably under our pillars of people, processes and systems. This hands-on role involves serving customers on the shop floor, processing sales, and assisting with loading goods.

You will oversee stock control, rostering, local marketing, and reporting to the General Manager and Head Office.

• Proven management experience in a retail or customer service environment.
• Strong leadership skills with experience developing a team.
• Financial management skills including monitoring sales and costs.
• Stock management and ordering experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic POS and EFTPOS skills; good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of landscaping products and installation methods (training provided).
• Forklift (LF) licence, or willingness to obtain one.
• Moderate level of fitness and comfortable working outdoors in an active environment.

As Store Manager, you'll report to the General Manager and Operations team. You'll be responsible for the overall performance of your store. You'll lead and develop your team, drive sales and customer service, and make sure the branch runs efficiently, safely and profitably, guided by our operational pillars of people, processes and systems. This is a hands-on role. You'll be on the floor serving customers, processing sales, and helping load purchased goods into customer vehicles.

Key responsibilities

Leading, supervising, training and rostering branch staff

Driving sales and delivering exceptional face-to-face customer service

Stock ordering, inventory control and stock management

Cash handling, EFTPOS and end-of-day processes

Implementing local marketing initiatives and maintaining branch presentation

Monitoring branch performance and financial results

Reporting to the General Manager and Head Office, and completing administrative tasks

Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety procedures

Maintaining high operational standards across the yard and shopfront

About you
