Qualifications

• 3+ years’ supermarket or retail management experience
• Proven leadership, coaching and people development skills
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated results across sales, waste and wage control
• Organised, proactive and calm under pressure
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• A genuine passion for community retail and customer service

Responsibilities

• Lead overall store operations, standards and financial performance
• Recruit, roster, develop and mentor a high‑performing team
• Deliver outstanding customer service and an exceptional in‑store experience
• Execute pricing, promotions, planograms and seasonal campaigns
• Manage budgets, wage control, shrinkage and inventory KPIs
• Ensure safety, compliance, food handling and audit readiness
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, the local community and support office
