Frontline Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Store Manager for a busy retail store in Hornsby. You will lead a team, deliver an engaging customer experience, and own day-to-day operations.

The role focuses on hands-on leadership, coaching, sales growth, and creating a welcoming store environment for customers and staff alike.

• Previous retail management experience or ready for next step as Store Manager.
• Proven ability to lead and coach a team to meet sales targets.
• Strong understanding of KPIs, targets and commercial performance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Interest in books and creating a welcoming customer experience.

Are you a natural leader with a passion for books, customer service and creating a welcoming store environment? This is an opportunity to take ownership of a busy retail store in Hornsby, leading a team and delivering an engaging customer experience.

We're looking for an experienced Store Manager who enjoys being hands‑on, developing their team and driving sales in a customer‑focused retail environment.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Leading, motivating and developing a team to achieve store targets
• Delivering outstanding customer service and building strong customer relationships
• Driving sales performance and monitoring key store KPIs
• Managing rosters, wage budgets and day‑to‑day store operations
• Maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation
• Overseeing stock management, replenishment and inventory control
• Creating a positive team culture that encourages accountability and collaboration

About You

• Previous experience as a Store Manager or a strong Assistant Store Manager ready for the next step
• Proven experience leading, coaching and developing a retail team
• A strong understanding of sales targets, KPIs and commercial performance
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• A genuine interest in books, reading and creating an engaging customer experience
