AtomicEdu Consulting Services, recruiting on behalf of a Craigieburn store, seeks an experienced Store Manager to oversee daily retail operations, lead staff, and maintain high service and stock standards. Salary is $80,000 per year plus superannuation, with full-time ongoing employment.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year in a retail management role, strong leadership and inventory skills, and experience with POS and inventory systems. Availability for weekends is preferred.

Formación

• Minimum of one year in a Store Manager or related retail management role.
• Proven ability to supervise staff and coordinate store operations.
• Knowledge of purchasing, inventory control, merchandising and sales reporting.
• Ability to manage costs, interpret sales results and meet targets.
• Strong leadership, organisational and customer service skills.
• Experience with point-of-sale and inventory management systems.
• Grocery/ supermarket or multi-category retail experience preferred.
• Desirable retail or business management qualifications.
• Availability for rostered shifts, including weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organise and oversee daily retail operations.
• Manage product ranges, purchasing and stock replenishment in consultation with business management.
• Monitor sales, expenses and stock performance; implement improvements.
• Manage budgets and work toward sales and profitability targets.
• Review pricing, promotions, displays and merchandising.
• Coordinate supplier orders, deliveries and stock availability.
• Oversee stocktakes and minimise wastage.
• Maintain proper storage, stock rotation and expiry controls.
• Recruit, train and supervise retail staff; prepare rosters.
• Set customer service standards and resolve enquiries.
• Oversee cash handling and POS procedures.
• Maintain workplace safety and compliance with food and retail requirements.
• Report store performance to management.
