Qualifications

• Minimum one year of relevant experience in retail management.
• Diploma qualification or higher required.
• Knowledge of stock management and inventory control.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate daily store operations.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of retail pricing, merchandising and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Manage store's product range and stock levels according to demand.
• Coordinate purchasing, liaise with suppliers and review prices.
• Prepare and manage operating budget; monitor wages and expenses.
• Plan local promotions and advertising initiatives to boost sales.
• Maintain excellent customer service and resolve complaints.
• Recruit, roster, train and supervise staff.
• Maintain stock records and reconcile cash takings.
• Oversee stock ordering, receiving and rotation; minimize losses.
• Monitor daily/weekly sales and identify improvement areas.
• Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are met.
• Liaise with suppliers to implement store standards.
