Job summary

General Pants is seeking a Store Manager to lead the Erina store, drive sales, and bring the GP brand to life on the shop floor.

You will own the store’s performance, coach a high-calibre team, manage rostering and budgets, and ensure a premium customer experience every day.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a retail management role with a proven track record of delivering sales results and hitting KPIs.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L, wage budgets, rostering and store operations.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Genuine passion for driving a customer-first culture and delivering an exceptional in-store experience.

About the Role

General Pants is one of Australia and New Zealand’s most iconic fashion retailers, and we’re looking for a driven Store Manager to lead the team and bring the GP brand to life in our Erina store. If you’re a natural leader who thrives on the shop floor and lives for a sales challenge, this could be your next big move.

As Store Manager, you’ll take full ownership of your store’s performance, leading a high-performing team and creating an environment where every customer interaction counts. You’ll set the pace on the floor, drive commercial results, and build the next generation of GP leaders from within.

What You Will Be Doing

• Driving a high-performance sales culture that consistently delivers results and KPI targets
• Leading, coaching and developing a high-calibre team, identifying talent and creating clear pathways for progression
• Taking full ownership of store operations, including rostering, wage budgets and P&L
• Overseeing VM execution and leading regular store walkthroughs to keep product placement commercial and on-brand
• Managing customer experiences and resolving issues with empathy, delivering an exceptional in-store experience
• Ensuring team compliance with GP and Alquemie Group policies, including loss prevention, stock management and security standards
