Job summary

General Pants Co is seeking a Senior Sales Assistant to energise the GP store experience and help lead frontline operations. You will drive authentic customer connections, support store leadership and mentor teammates on shift.

You’ll open and close the store, maintain security procedures, and keep our systems running, while modelling strong selling energy and store standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in a retail, hospitality or customer-facing role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to connect with people.
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, stay organised under pressure and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Creating a genuine and positive experience for every customer, and owning your KPI performance to drive store sales targets and results.
• Opening and closing the store in line with GP security procedures, alarm management and daily checklists.
• Mentoring and coaching team members, helping them build product knowledge, confidence and capability on the floor.
• Leading floor recovery and merchandise refresh to keep the store commercial and on-brand.
• Acting as the go-to person on shift for questions, escalations and problem solving when a manager isn't on the floor.
• Supporting loss prevention, stock management and store presentation standards at all times.
