Job summary

Amplifon in ACT is seeking a store leadership professional to manage a team of retail sales associates, drive lead generation and achieve sales targets. You will lead customer engagement, coach staff, and ensure accurate reporting while delivering outstanding service in busy shopping-centre locations with strong weekly hours. A dynamic, customer-focused leader is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation by inviting customers to check hearing health.
• Build rapport with new customers and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
• Explain hearing results and recommend next steps.
• Reconnect with previous customers or new leads by phone.
• Manage customer database, stock control and invoicing.
• Ensure compliance and accurate industry reporting.
• Contribute to store targets and KPIs.
• Oversee and motivate retail associates to deliver outstanding service.
• Participate in recruitment and training of new team members.
• Roster management, store meetings, coaching and development.

This position sees you managing a team of retail sales associates, to drive lead generation and achieve sales targets.

What you'll be doing

• Active lead generation by encouraging customers in the shopping centre to check their hearing health by completing a free 5-minute hearing check.
• Build a rapport with new customers and enhance relationships with existing customers.
• Explain hearing results and recommend next steps
• Reconnecting with previous customers or new leads via phone-based communication.
• Customer database administration, including database management, stock control and invoicing.
• Ensuring accurate compliance and high attention to detail with industry reporting requirements.
• Actively manage and contribute to store targets and KPIs.
• Overseeing and motivating a team of retail associates to consistently provide outstanding customer service
• Actively participate in the recruitment and training of new team members,
• Active team management, through rostering, conducting store meetings, providing coaching & feedback and supporting individual professional development.

• Proven track record driving sales and profitability with a focus on customer service excellence
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to lead by example, motivate and develop high-performing teams
• Review data and analytics to guide your decision making
• Previous, demonstrable experience in customer service, sales or administration.
• A self-starter with a can do attitude, great communication skills (written and verbal) to support our team and customers.
• Availability to work retail hours, including weekends and late-night trade
