Job summary

Retailworld Resourcing is partnering with an established Australian furniture retailer to hire a commercially driven Store Manager who leads from the floor and closes high-value sales.

You'll coach a small team, own the customer journey from enquiry to delivery, and drive store performance with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach. A strong bonus structure and high earning potential are on offer.

We’re partnering with an established Australian furniture retailer to find a commercially driven Store Manager who knows how to sell, lead a team and create an exceptional customer experience.
This is not an office-based management role. You’ll be on the floor, leading from the front, building customer relationships, closing high-value sales and driving your team to hit ambitious targets.

What you’ll be doing:

• Drive store sales and consistently hit targets
• Personally lead from the floor and close sales
• Coach and motivate a small, high-performing team
• Build strong customer relationships and generate repeat business
• Own the customer journey from enquiry through to delivery
• Monitor KPIs, GP and overall store performance
• Oversee showroom presentation and day-to-day operations
• Take ownership of the store and its results

What we’re looking for:
You’re a proven furniture sales leader who loves the thrill of closing a deal. You’re commercially minded, confident with customers and comfortable leading a small team.
You’ll ideally bring:

• Previous furniture or premium retail experience
• Store Manager, Showroom Manager, Sales Manager or strong 2IC experience
• A proven personal sales track record
• Strong commercial and KPI understanding
• Experience leading small teams
• A hands-on, entrepreneurial approach
• The drive to genuinely outperform targets
