Job summary

Jaycar Electronics is seeking a dynamic store manager in Western Australia to lead a team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales budgets. You will drive technical, merchandising and sales strategies within the store, while developing staff and ensuring efficient operations.

You will mentor team members, manage rostering and payroll approval, and partner with the Area Manager to uplift underperforming areas. A passion for electronics and confident communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Driving sales to achieve and exceed budget for your store.
• Emphasizing technical, merchandising and sales techniques to grow sales within the store.
• Focusing on store development and implementation of set activities for your store.
• Communicating sales budgets to your team and refocusing as required.
• Leading by example through all store procedures to ensure the store is managed effectively.
• Providing training to and supporting development of your team members.
• Identifying and managing areas of underperformance and working with Area Manager to improve skills.
• Managing general store expenses, petty cash and expenditure.
• Rostering and payroll approval responsibilities.
