Job summary

Jaycar Electronics in Mackay, Queensland is seeking an enthusiastic Store Manager to lead a small team and drive sales targets within our vibrant, customer-focused outlet.

You will develop staff, train the team to boost productivity, create a safe working environment for customers and colleagues, manage stock daily to minimise loss, and apply visual merchandising and promotions to maximise turnover while upholding our electronics passion.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assist the Store Manager in driving sales with the team to achieve targets and KPI’s
• In conjunction with your Store Manager develop and train the team to increase productivity
• Create a safe working environment for the team and customers
• Daily management of stock to minimize stock loss, and maximise sales
• Implement visual merchandising strategies and promotional changes

Experience Required

• Ability to develop your management skills and lead a small team
• High standards of customer service delivery
• Exhibit enthusiasm and self-motivation
• A spark for electronics to enhance the customer experience
