Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise storage hardware, tapes and libraries.
• Skill in hierarchy storage management (HSM) for tape media.
• Proficient with Ansible for automation and provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Deploy and manage data centres, storage, and network services
• Performance Analysis: Optimise data storage and transmission efficiency
• System Support: Maintain a secure, scalable, high-performance service
• Administration of storage, compute and cloud infrastructure
• Day-to-day maintenance of multi-petabyte storage systems (disk and tape)
• Capacity planning and usage trending
• Implement and manage auto-tiering and data replication
• Maintain storage life-cycle management and best practices
• Administer storage virtualization layers and HPC/cloud integration
• Troubleshoot system and storage performance issues
• Ensure robustness, security and scalability of infrastructure
