Job summary

Millennium Technology Services Co. is seeking a senior storage engineer to act as the primary technical contact for storage issues onsite across customer environments in Australia.

You will manage enterprise storage systems, perform health checks, firmware upgrades, patching, and optimization to ensure high availability and SLA compliance. Responsibilities include incident management, RCA, and collaboration with vendor TACs, along with capacity planning and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in enterprise storage administration.
• Experience supporting Pure Storage solutions is highly preferred.
• Familiar with RAID concepts, replication and snapshot technologies.
• Experience in SLA-driven support environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for storage-related issues onsite.
• Manage, monitor, and maintain enterprise storage systems; perform health checks and firmware upgrades.
• Troubleshoot incidents, performance bottlenecks, and system alerts to ensure availability and SLA compliance.
• Coordinate with vendor TAC for complex issues and provide RCA and preventive recommendations.
• Prepare monthly service reports and participate in review meetings.
