Job summary

Universal Granite Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Stone Benchtop Fabricator to join our manufacturing team in Sydney, NSW. You will fabricate and finish stone benchtops to the highest standards, operate stone processing machinery and hand tools, and ensure quality and safety compliance.

In this role you will read and interpret technical drawings, perform precise cutting, mitring, polishing and finishing, and complete sink, cooktop and tap hole cut-outs to specification.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience as a Stone Benchtop Fabricator or Stonemason.
• Demonstrated experience fabricating natural stone, engineered stone and porcelain benchtops.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate kitchen, bathroom, laundry and commercial stone benchtops.
• Read and interpret stone drawings.
• Perform accurate cutting, mitring, polishing, laminating and finishing of stone products.
• Complete sink, cooktop and tap hole cut-outs to specification.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure all products meet company standards.
• Safely handle, move and store stone slabs and finished products.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with WHS requirements.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Stone Benchtop Fabricator to join our manufacturing team.

About the Role

Working in our factory, you will be responsible for the fabrication and finishing of stone benchtops to the highest standard. You will operate a range of stone processing machinery and hand tools while ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with workplace safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
