Job summary

Pazzi Marble & Granite is seeking a reliable Stonemason Fabricator to join our production team in Mulgrave, VIC. You will operate stone processing machinery to cut, shape, drill and polish natural, engineered and porcelain materials.

You will read shop drawings, work orders and ensure work is completed safely, accurately and on time, maintaining quality standards across fabrication and installation teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines, bridge saws, edge polishers, waterjet and other processing equipment.
• Setup and operate machinery according to drawings, specifications and production requirements.
• Safely load, position and secure stone for processing.
• Perform cutting, drilling, profiling, polishing and other machine processes.
• Monitor machine operation and make basic adjustments.
• Inspect finished pieces for quality, accuracy and defects.
• Follow shop drawings, work orders and production instructions.
• Meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Minimise material wastage through efficient machine operation.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machinery.
• Report machine faults promptly.
• Work collaboratively with stonemasons, apprentices and other production staff.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Machine Operatorto join our production team. You will operate stone processing machinery tocut, shape, drill and polish natural, engineered and porcelain/ultra-compactstone.

Working from shop drawings and work orders, you will ensurework is completed safely, accurately and efficiently while maintaining qualityand production requirements.

What you will do

• Abilityto work efficiently and meet production deadlines
• Strong commitment to safety and site requirements
• Physicallycapable of safely handling stone and working around machinery
• White Card holder

Nice to have

• Experienceoperating CNC, bridge saw, waterjet or polishing machinery
• Experienceworking with natural stone, engineered stone and porcelain/ultra-compactmaterials
• CNCCAD/CAMexperience
