Job summary

Pazzi Marble & Granite is seeking an Intermediate Stonemason Fabricator to join our production team in Mulgrave, VIC. You will independently produce high-precision natural stone elements such as benchtops, cladding and feature pieces to exacting standards.

You will read shop drawings, work with minimal supervision, support juniors and uphold quality, safety and workflow efficiency in a busy factory environment.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as a stonemason or fabricator in natural stone.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings independently.
• Strong hand skills and consistent quality finish.
• Willingness to coach junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Independently produce finished stonework from shop drawings and cut lists.
• Keep work areas clean, tools maintained and consumables organised.
• Maintain high standards of dimensional accuracy, surface finish and edge quality.
• Identify material defects or drawing issues early and raise them.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE without exception.
• Support and guide Junior Fabricators when required.
• Complete allocated jobs to the required standard and timeframe.
• Contribute practical suggestions for process improvement.

About the Role

We are looking for an Intermediate Stonemason Fabricator to join our production team at Pazzi Marble & Granite.

In this role you will independently produce high-precision natural stone elements (benchtops, cladding, feature pieces and more) to a high standard. You will handle a full range of fabrication tasks with minimal supervision, maintain excellent quality, and support junior team members. You will be a reliable core member of the factory team.

About You

• Solid experience as a stonemason or fabricator in natural stone (typically 2–5+ years)
• Strong hand skills and consistent quality finish
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings independently
• Physically capable of handling stone safely
• Reliable, detail-oriented and proud of your work
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Willingness to support and coach junior team members

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and handle stone materials safely
• Comfortable working in a factory environment with machinery, slurry and noise
• Able to always wear required PPE

• Experience working in a high-standards / quality-focused workshop environment
