Job summary

Macarthur Marble & Granite is seeking a skilled Stonemason to join our team on a full-time basis at our Ingleburn factory, with on-site work across Macarthur, the South Coast and Sydney areas. You will handle fabrication, polishing, cutting, and installation tasks for benchtops and joins.

We value experience with man-made and natural stone, attention to detail, safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proven stonemasonry experience with stone materials.
• Ability to read drawings and measurements.
• Familiarity with safety practices in stone trades.
• Experience with on-site installation a plus.
• Valid driver’s license preferred for site work.
• White Card required.

Responsibilities

• Factory work including polishing, gluing, cutting stone (man-made, porcelain, natural).
• Install benchtops and splashbacks on site as required, including joins and sink cutouts.
• Work within a team environment and uphold safety standards.

Job description

Macarthur Marble & Granite is seeking a skilled and experienced Stonemason to join our team on a full-time basis at our Factory in Ingleburn, and on site in Macarthur, South Coast and Sydney areas.

Key responsibilities

• Factory work including polishing, gluing, cutting man made stone, porcelain and natural stone.
• Ability to install benchtops and splash backs on site if required, including completing joins, drilling tap holes, gluing undermount sinks etc.
• Working within a team environment

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working with man made, porcelain and natural stone materials
• Proficiency in operating stonemason tools and machinery safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work to precise measurements and specifications
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
• Sound understanding of health and safety practices relevant to our trade
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual and committed to delivering quality workmanship
• Experience with CAD software or stone fabrication technology would be advantageous
• A valid driver's license is preferred for potential on-site installation work
• White card is essential
• Minimum 2 years experience
