Job summary

SEJ Livestock & Real Estate in Gippsland is seeking a proactive Stock Agent to manage livestock sales from start to finish, provide practical market updates, and build a local client base. You’ll represent SEJ at sales and industry events while delivering trusted advice to farmers and landowners.

• Experience as a Stock Agent with strong livestock market knowledge and local networks.
• Customer-focused approach and drive to grow client base.
• Auctioneering experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage livestock sales from start to finish, including auctioneering and helping clients achieve the best possible result.
• Provide clients with practical livestock advice, market updates and buyer insights.
• Build your client base by identifying new business opportunities across the region.
• Promote SEJ products and services that support your clients’ businesses.
• Work with the local team, buyers, suppliers and industry contacts to deliver a seamless service.
• Represent the business at livestock sales and local industry events
• Keep accurate client and sales records and follow safe work practices
