Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts Canberra seeks a Stewarding Supervisor for the National Convention Centre Canberra. You will lead a stewarding team, maintain cleanliness and hygiene to HACCP standards, and support food and beverage operations across outlets and events.

You’ll manage stock, assist with event setups, schedule rosters, and partner with Facilities to uphold safety and cost efficiency while delivering excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in stewarding, banquets, kitchen operations, or food and beverage service.
• Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety and HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise stewarding operations to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across F&B outlets and public areas.
• Support chefs with food preparation, presentation, and kitchen duties as required.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and managing goods efficiently.
• Be the main point of call for event set-ups and equipment manoeuvring.
• Ensure crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment are cleaned, maintained, and stored properly in HACCP compliance.
