Sterilising Services is a vital part of the Infrastructure and Health Support Services Division, supporting the safe delivery of healthcare through the reprocessing, maintenance and management of reusable medical devices. The team is responsible for the cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation of specialised medical equipment, ensuring compliance with stringent quality and safety standards while supporting clinical services across a broad range of healthcare settings. In addition to instrument reprocessing, the service coordinates equipment procurement, repairs and ongoing maintenance to ensure healthcare professionals have access to safe, reliable and fit-for-purpose medical instruments.
As a member of the Sterilising Services team, you will play an important role in supporting patient care by contributing to the efficient operation of a fast-paced and highly regulated environment. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, attention to detail and customer service while participating in a rotating 24-hour, 7-day roster and providing support across multiple service locations.
