Perio Care in Brisbane is seeking a reliable Dental Assistant who thrives in a busy specialist periodontal practice. The role is full-time and primarily focused on sterilisation, instrument processing and stock management, with additional duties supporting our CBCT/OPG imaging room.

You will be expected to assist clinically when needed, maintain high infection control standards, and contribute to the smooth running of the practice.

Our ideal candidate is a reliable, organised and enthusiastic Dental Assistant who takes pride in maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilisation.

This is a full-time position primarily focused on sterilisation, instrument processing, tracking, stock management and supporting the smooth running of our busy specialist periodontal practice. The role will also involve dental assisting when required and supporting our CBCT/OPG imaging room.

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience in dental assisting and sterilisation, preferably in a busy dental practice.

Has excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of infection control procedures.

Is organised, efficient and able to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrates initiative, reliability and a positive, team-focused attitude.

Holds a Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (preferred).

Holds a Certificate IV in Dental Assisting with a radiography component, or is willing to undertake the required training to support our CBCT/OPG services.
