Job summary

Junior Adventures Group in Drouin, VIC is seeking a Part-time Step-Up Coordinator to lead a team of Educators and manage rosters across split shifts. The role offers 27.5 hours per week with opportunities to develop leadership within a supportive regional office structure.

You will build programs across STEM, cooking, sport, art, and craft while fostering strong relationships with families and schools, aiming for future management pathways.

Qualifications

  • Leadership and roster management experience preferred.
  • Ability to mentor educators onsite and lead a team.
  • Willingness to complete background checks and safety training.

Job Description

Join us in our service in the Drouin area, as a Step- Up Coordinator, ready to build your confidence in leadership, operations, and team management within a supportive environment. This permanent, part-time role offers27.5 hours per week.You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Wednesday + Friday:6.30-9am (Rise then Shine) and Monday - Friday 3:00-6.30pm(Stay and Play).

About the role

The role is designed for someone ready to step up and develop as a leader. With support from experienced regional managers and a dedicated state office team, you’ll gain hands‑on leadership experience while making a genuine impact in your local school community.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

Qualifications
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!)
  • State working-with-children check
  • National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
  • VIC Diploma-Level - Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a Diploma-levelEducatorin VIC in accordance with ACECQA
