Job summary

Mesh & Bar is seeking 6 reliable Machine Operators to join our Glendenning steel manufacturing facility. These are ongoing full-time opportunities with overtime and a pathway to permanent employment.

There will be an on-site Recruitment Day to meet the team; positions available across Offcoil, Lenton, Benders and General Steel Processing. Four of the six roles may require Overhead Crane operation; training will be provided for the right candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or steel processing.
• Strong safety and quality focus.
• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Able to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Comfort with following production instructions and using measuring tools.
• Reliability, punctuality and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up steel processing machinery.
• Cut, thread and process reinforcing steel.
• Load and move steel materials safely.
• Perform quality checks and basic machine maintenance.
• Follow production schedules and keep a safe and organized work area.
