Job summary

Mesh & Bar is seeking 6 Machine Operators in Glendenning, NSW, for ongoing casual work with full-time hours and opportunities for permanency. Roles cover Offcoil, Lenton, Benders and general steel processing, with 4 positions involving overhead crane operation. Training provided for right candidates.

Day shift 6:00am–2:06pm and Afternoon shift 2:30pm–10:36pm, with regular overtime and some Saturday work. On-site recruitment day to meet the team; roles to be filled by October.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or steel processing.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Ability to follow production instructions and use basic measuring equipment.
• Reliability, punctuality and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up steel processing machinery.
• Cut, thread and process reinforcing steel.
• Load and move steel materials safely.
• Perform quality checks and basic machine maintenance.
• Follow production schedules and maintain a safe, organized work area.
