Job summary

NEX Building Group, through its Supaloc brand, is expanding its Tomago factory and seeking Production Workers to assemble steel wall frames, roof trusses and joists in a fast-paced production environment.

These full-time roles operate Monday to Friday with a 38-hour week. Training lasts 3 months at $30.79/hour, rising to $35.96/hour on completion, with 4 weeks paid leave and overtime opportunities on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand and power tools.
• General understanding of assembly work.
• Available to work Monday to Friday – 38 hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble using power hand tools safely to a high quality and standard.
• Read and understand basic drawings and framing plans.
• Manual handling, including 2-person lifts and general stacking.
• Work collaboratively with a team, ensuring seamless coordination and timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
