Department of Transport and Planning in Melbourne—CBD is seeking a Planner to deliver statutory planning services, assess permit applications and amendments, and prepare assessment reports. The role involves managing approvals within timeframes and advising managers, applicants, councils and stakeholders.

The position requires a relevant urban planning qualification and knowledge of the Victorian planning system is preferred.

Formación

• Relevant tertiary qualification in urban planning and/or related field.
• Working knowledge of the Victorian planning system is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver statutory planning services, including assessing planning permit applications and planning scheme amendments.
• Prepare assessment reports and correspondence, manage approvals and projects within required timeframes.
• Provide accurate, timely advice to managers, applicants, councils and other stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with government agencies, councils and the development industry.
