Job summary

Seed Heritage is seeking a State Visual Merchandising Manager to lead the SA and TAS VM team, ensuring consistent store presentation and VM standards across all concept stores and concession pads. The role includes developing training programs, supporting store managers, and implementing VM concepts with a view to increasing sales.

The ideal candidate will have a Visual Merchandising qualification and at least 3 years’ VM experience, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Visual Merchandising or equivalent desired.
• Minimum of 3 years Visual Merchandising experience, preferably in fashion apparel.
• Strong commercial acumen and business-minded decision making.
• Proven leadership and team-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead SA instore Visual Merchandising teams and oversee Tasmania.
• Maintain VM standards and store presentation across stores.
• Develop training initiatives to raise VM skills at store level.
• Assist with Store Manager training on VM standards.
• Oversee installation of in-store VM concepts and guidelines.
• Identify VM opportunities with management to drive sales.
• Collaborate with State/Area Managers to set and support VM standards.

Job description

We are currently seeking a talented and committed State Visual Merchandising Manager to lead our VM team in South Australia and Tasmania. Our brand is distinguished by its distinctive store design, meticulous merchandising and unique VM concepts. The position is responsible for ensuring our high standard of presentation is thoroughly and consistently applied across our Concept stores and Concession pads across the state.

THE ROLE:

• Managing the SA instore Visual Merchandising teams
• Maintaining VM standards and store presentation standards
• Develop training initiatives to develop VM skills at store level
• Assist with new store manager training sessions on VM standards
• Overseeing the installation of instore VM concepts
• Applying/interpreting and implementing the In-store VM Guidelines
• In conjunction with the State Retail Manager and Store Managers, identifying and actioning VM opportunities to increase sales
• Working with State/Area/Cluster Managers, and In-store Visual Merchandisers to set standards, provide feedback and support store staff in a professional and personable way
• Assist with new Store Manager training sessions on VM standards
• Develop training initiatives to develop VM skills at store level.

Please note that this is a 12-month Fixed Term role, commencing in September 2026.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• A tertiary or equivalent qualification in Visual Merchandising (desired)
• A minimum of 3 years Visual Merchandising experience (with fashion apparel experience as an advantage)
• Strong commercial acumen
• Possess good time management, organisational and communication skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• A passion to help drive the business forward will be essential.
• Possess people leadership skills and work well as a part of a team
• Create and strong eye for detail

To be considered for this Adelaide-based position, you are required to hold a current Driver’s Licenseand have a reliable vehicle.
