Job summary

Shadforth Financial Group is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead our Sydney team, overseeing Client Advisers, Associates and support staff to deliver high-quality service and compliant operations.

You will drive performance, develop talent, and align processes with national frameworks while delivering on budget and strategic targets for the state. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Sydney.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

The opportunity to join our team

Great opportunity to lead the client support and operational teams in Sydney. You will lead a large team of Senior Associate Advisers (SAA) Associate Advisors (AAs) and Client Associates (CAs) who provide high-quality support and technical assistance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team to provide expert support and technical assistance across the preparation of advice, implementation of advice and ongoing assistance with managing clients
• Deliver consistent, compliant and standardised operational processes across the State, adopting and enforcing the national frameworks and service standards set by the National Head of Operational Transformation.
• Partner with the National Head of Operational Transformation and Head of Shadforth to deliver the State's annual budgets, pledges and targets
• Track and report State adoption metrics, operational performance and benefits realisation, contributing to the national measures owned by the National Head of Operational Transformation.
• Recruit, train and mentor talent, managing the training and development program to build a high-performing team.
• Identify and implement improvements to processes
• Lead and proactively get involved in projects
• Manage the training and development program of team

What You Will Bring

• Solid leadership experience in financial planning or advice operations, with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong technical knowledge in financial planning
• Proven experience driving change adoption and embedding new systems, processes and operating models into business-as-usual.
• Ability to drive a high performing culture
• Knowledge of compliance and risk management governing financial planning
• Degree in finance, business or management
